The biggest regional trade fair for the electrical sector
The visitor numbers in 2011 confirmed it: eltefa is the biggest trade fair for for the region. Furthermore this successful event is characterised by: a truly unique mix of trades, industry, retail, architects and specialist planners.
Accompanied by the megatrend of re-localisation, for example with local energy networks and local energy generators, and with regard to the economic environment, an innovative, dynamic event awaits you in 2013. In addition there is the advantageous location: The Mid-Neckar region is the most important industrial location in Germany. Not only thanks to the world-famous corporations such as Daimler, Porsche, Bosch or IBM, but above all also the many medium-sized companies that are leaders in their fields, such as Trumpf, Festo, Stihl, Dürr and Kärcher. Over half of the German gross value added is generated within a 200-km radius of Stuttgart.

For the visitors it is an advantage if they can obtain concentrated information on each topic. The theme mix is a special feature of eltefa, which in addition to the classic target groups, attracts more and more architects and planners, as there is also a special programme for them. At the same time, eltefa is developing into a home for IT in the electrical trades.”
